New hysteresis brake

We at Kern Antriebstechnik of course work continuously on developing new innovative products in the area of drive technology. As a result, we present you proud our new adjustable hysteresis brake “PMB-2”, which is now for sale. The very special about the brake is, that the torque can be adjust easily by hand with a wheel on the outer diameter, and this works at standstill or in operation.

Thus, the braking effect is produced completely without any electric power supply. And because of the special construction of this hysteresis brake, it works also absolutely wear-free. Additionally, the brake works with a torque, which is speed-independent. 

Consequently, the brake is perfectly suitable as an overload clutch or thread brake, for example in the area of textile, or in the paper industry. For the power transmission the brake has a hollow shaft, which is suitable for the use of a feather key. 

On your request it is also possible to produce custom-made products.
